Traffic Travel Transport Group

Welcome to the Buckland Dinham Traffic, Travel and Transport Group

Next T, T and T meeting : Wednesday 21st January 2025 7pm – Village Hall UPSTAIRS via the back door

The Traffic, Travel and Transport Group materialised from the Parish Plan. Our aim is to consider the outcome of the villagers' opinions from the Parish Plan into the following aspects of the village. These were:

Traffic - traffic volume and noise; speeding traffic

Pedestrian safety - pedestrian safety; narrow pavements / verges; broken/uneven pavements & kerbs

Roads - poor drainage, potholes, mud, road markings

Public transport - insufficient public transport

Cycling - lack of cycle paths

Parking - lack of available parking / parking on pavements

Please see minutes of the last meeting for more details.

The T, T and T group have had plenty of ideas but they need volunteers who can help with each aspect and input from those who can benefit from the ideas.

We meet four times a year and report in to the Parish Council.

Please join in by contacting Sara G via the [email protected] with your ideas.
